Plastic Surgery Risks
Dr. Barry Press, MD, is a board-certified plastic surgeon and this is an important factor in having a good plastic surgery experience. Skill, experience and certification helps you decide which doctor to use for positive results that you will love. Cosmetic surgery, like any other surgery, also carries a certain risk of unforeseen issues. This is why Dr. Press carries CosmetAssure® at no charge for his patients.
What CosmetAssure® Does
CosmetAssure® is a plan endorsed by the prestigious American Society of Plastic Surgeons, and it is available only to members of this medical organization. This plan offers assurance to cosmetic surgery patients that if any complication arises then CosmetAssure® will provide financial support to pay for the treatment of those complications of the surgery. It offers peace of mind that if a complication should be discovered then there is relief for that financial burden.
Plastic Surgery Complications
Many of the expenses involved in a cosmetic surgery complication are covered, such as hospitalization, ambulance service, medical follow ups and other procedures. This protection is available for patients who have received any of the the 17 most common plastic surgery procedures such as breast reduction or reconstruction, facelift, rhinoplasty, eyelid surgery, abdominoplasty, gynecomastia treatment and other procedures.
How does CosmetAssure® work?
When a patient has elective surgery, their regular health insurance does not cover it in their policy, nor any complications that might come up after cosmetic surgery. CosmetAssure® offers you the financial protection you will need in the rare event a complication arises that requires medical treatment. Your enrollment in this plan is automatic. Dr. Press takes care of your enrollment and pays the fee for CosmetAssure® for you. If you would like to learn more about CosmetAssure®, ask about it at your preoperative appointment with Dr. Press or browse the CosmetAssure® website.
